"We are proud of our continuing inclusion on both the World and North America DJSI, which is a direct outgrowth of holding ourselves accountable to do the right thing and to make a positive difference in the world. This achievement underscores the seriousness of our commitment to corporate sustainability and to inspire action, illuminate answers, and advocate better health."
Launched in 1999, the DJSI are the first global indices tracking the financial performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide. The DJSI enable investors to integrate sustainability considerations into their portfolios while providing an effective engagement platform for encouraging companies to adopt sustainable best practices. Companies are named to the DJSI based on the results of the Corporate Sustainability Assessment. This annual questionnaire provides an in-depth analysis of economic, environmental and social criteria, such as corporate governance, water-related risks and stakeholder relations, with a special focus on industry-specific risks and opportunities.
