TETERBORO, NJ, April 24, 1997 – Quest
Diagnostics Incorporated (NYSE: DGX) has elected Mary A. Cirillo to serve as a member of
its Board of Directors. The appointment expands the board to seven members.
Mary A. Cirillo, 49, is Senior Vice President for global relationship banking
operations and technology at Citibank, N.A., a position she has held since 1994. She
joined Citibank in 1977. Ms. Cirillo also serves on the boards of the Roundabout Theater
and the University Settlement House in New York, as well as the Financial Services
Advisory Board of Hewlett-Packard Company. She is the recipient of the 1985 YWCA Academy
of Women Achievers Award and the 1994 Star Award for the New York Women's Agenda.
